About the Artist:
Ziya Ismail is an Indian artist and architect based in Dubai, UAE. Her work explores the connections between nature and the human inner self, reflecting how natural forms mirror emotions. Growing up in Kerala, India, she developed an appreciation for nature’s patterns. Her practice focuses on the relationships between shapes, colors, and patterns in nature, and their roles within ecological systems. Ziya draws parallels between natural growth and human thoughts, suggesting both ecosystems and personal perspectives are shaped by interconnected layers.
