For the 95th issue of Posterzine® we take a closer look at the most famous Italian type foundry in the world, Zetafonts, known for its elegant fusion of traditional Italian design elements & contemporary trends. To date, the award-winning foundry has published more than two thousand different fonts belonging to more than a hundred typographic families. With over 32 million downloads on Dafont.com, Zetafonts’ creations are taking Italian font design global. The foundry’s most recent font — called Artusi — takes inspiration from one of the best-loved features of Italian culture: its food. Named after the Italian food writer, Pellegrino Artusi, its creators describe the font as “the secret ingredient to delicious design dishes”.
