ننطلق من ارشيف لمحة عين لننظر من جديد إلى ما اعتدنا رؤيته: الحروف، اللافتات، المطبوعات، والأشياء التي تمرّ أمام أعيننا كل يوم. نتأمل الخط العربي والثقافة البصرية، نتتبع ما تصنعه الصورة في ذائقتنا وذاكرتنا، وما تقوله الأشياء المألوفة عن لغتنا وعن الثقافة التي شكّلت أعيننا.

We begin with the Glance Archive, looking again at what we have grown accustomed to seeing: letters, signs, printed matter, and the objects that pass before our eyes every day.

Through Arabic typography and visual culture, we consider how images shape our taste and settle into our memory, and what familiar things can tell us about our language and the culture that has shaped the way we see.

Hands-on Workshop | AED 150

تقود إيناس من لمحة عين ورشة عملية بأقلام البوص والحبر، نستكشف فيها الحرف العربي بوصفه شكلاً؛ نكرّره، ونديره، ونعكسه، ونعيد ترتيبه، حتى يتجاوز الحرف صورته المقروءة ويتحوّل إلى نمط بصري.

Led by Enas of Glance Archive, participants will work with bamboo pens and ink to explore the Arabic letter as form: repeating, rotating, mirroring, and rearranging it until the letter begins to become pattern.
