Of Liminal Threads | Posters

Of Liminal Threads | نسيج من الارتحال is the debut solo exhibition by Syrian-Lebanese artist and designer Ranim Halaky, first exhibited at Tashkeel in 2025. The project unfolds through themes of migration, memory, oral storytelling, and domestic archives, using the Damascene summer blanket as both material and protagonist. Through cyanotype, stamping, screen printing, weaving, and sound, the exhibition reflects on intergenerational narratives and the liminal spaces between home, displacement, and remembrance.

A series of large-format posters produced through a screen-printing workshop held at the end of Of Liminal Threads. Combining photographs documenting the making process with screen-printed exhibition graphics and title design, the posters highlight process as a central part of the project while translating fragments of the exhibition into printed editions.
