Of Liminal Threads | Risograph printed poster programs (A4)

Of Liminal Threads | نسيج من الارتحال is the debut solo exhibition by Syrian-Lebanese artist and designer Ranim Halaky, first exhibited at Tashkeel in 2025. The project unfolds through themes of migration, memory, oral storytelling, and domestic archives, using the Damascene summer blanket as both material and protagonist. Through cyanotype, stamping, screen printing, weaving, and sound, the exhibition reflects on intergenerational narratives and the liminal spaces between home, displacement, and remembrance.

The accompanying risograph prints extend the life of the exhibition beyond the gallery space. Each print combines fragments of the exhibition statement and text with a poster visual developed for the project. Conceived as limited-edition “accessible art,” the series foregrounds process, preserving traces, textures, and evolving memories from Of Liminal Threads in printed form.
